California
The legacy of the Torres family in California The Torres family
landed in America in 1975, when Marimar Torres arrived there.
The first years were crucial in introducing the name and family products,
as well as looking for the ideal place to plant our vines.
The denomination of Russian River / Green Valley, on the western hillsides
of Sonoma County, California, was the chosen spot.
Only 15 km in from the Pacific Ocean she found the perfect microclimate
for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir cultivation, where fresh breezes and
ocean mists influence the vineyards.
Marimar Torres chose this privileged location, 80 km north of San
Francisco, to transmit to California the Torres family legacy, the
making of great wines. |
